Greetings from the Afro-Junior Schools Championship (AJSC).
As part of its continued efforts to empower young learners through communication and critical thinking, AJSC has organized the 3rd Edition of the National Primary Schools Debate, Poetry and Public Speech Tournament – 2026,
This year’s Competition will feature three key Categories:
– Debate (World Schools Format)
– Poetry Performance
– Public Speech
Theme:
“Empowering the Young Minds for Sustainable Development”
Tournament Dates: 24th-26th August, 2026
(Venue will be communicated in the invitation letter)
The event aims to nurture confidence, creativity, and analytical skills among Primary School Pupils, while providing a National platform for talent development and exposure.
In terms of awards, the overall Winning School will receive a Computer and a Cash Prize, in addition to Trophies, Medals, T-shirts and Certificates that will be awarded across all categories. Outstanding individual participants such as Best Speaker and Best Poet will also receive Awards. Several other prizes and educational items will be won during the tournament.
Schools interested in participating in this amazing tournament are required to complete this form. Based on the applications received, AJSC will issue formal invitation letters with further details, guidelines and event details.
